Otra banda que se sirvió de los años 90 para reinventarse. Es el caso de Depeche Mode, que con su disco Songs of faith and devotion (1993) dejaron casi de lado su techno-pop para establecerse como una banda más cercana al rock. Para muestra este I feel you, primer single del álbum. Una canción directa y contundente, que a pesar de tener un remarcado estribillo, está colmada de oscuridad y dramatismo. Resaltar el espectacular trabajo de todos los músicos en esta nueva andadura; conseguir este lavado de cara no era tarea fácil.
