Alguno prefieren a los Killing Joke post-punk del siglo XX, muchos pensando que su música en el nuevo milenio es sólo machacona y violenta. A ellos quiero llamar la atención especialmente sobre este tema, The Raven King; magnético, sosegado y con un aura sobrecogedora. Se trata de un tema muy especial para la banda, ya que sirve como tributo a Paul Raven (1961-2007), tristemente fallecido bajista de Ministry, Prong… y por supuesto Killing Joke. Seis minutos y medio de emoción contenida en el tema más extenso de Absolute Dissent (2010), formidable álbum con el que me inicié en esta excepcional banda. Y es que nunca es tarde para enamorarte de algo bello.
