Testament son una de las bandas más respetadas de la historia del thrash metal. Formados en Oakland, California, tuvieron que luchar desde sus inicios contra el Sambenito de ser considerados como meros imitadores de Metallica. Afortunadamente hace muchos años que se desprendieron de tal estigma y como el buen vino han ido mejorando con los años. Native Blood de su fenomenal disco Dark Roots of the Earth (2012) es un homenaje a las raíces nativas del mítico Chuck Billy y muestra a la perfección el potencial del arsenal que atesora Testament a día de hoy.
